I got one round of Impromptu before I was out of the running. Oh well.
I went to see HI finals today. I realized a few things about what makes a good HI.
1. Multiple characters with distinct voices and mannerisms
2. Crisp, clean transitions
3. A story/conversation being the bulk of it, not a monologue.
4. Appropriate physicality
5. Humor (a big one here)
6. A script written to be humorous (sorry people who wanted to use Twilight as an HI)

Last Day of School just hours a way:)
well that sucks but at leastbu had a fun experience... i mean nothin fun has gone on here... today i turned in my arch drawings and mr mcfadden sad they were this best work i have ever done and that i am climbing the ladder of success! he never says stuff like that... then i did nothing in my finals... i got my senior t shirt... i made awsome catches and hits in our fastpitch victory tonight... i baked without burning any of it... i dont need to take anything to school tomoro... the semi downside is goin to seattle with jonny boy... lol but im goin to keep his mommy company... but yeh today was pretty uneventfull... i still wanna know my theme paper grade... plz Yola!!! lollolololololooloolololololoolol

ReplyDeleteWe watched a sophomore plow his truck into the tree next to the Dairy Dan parking lot. Someone is going to need a summer job...and a new truck. Not such a good way to start the summer. All seem fine (medical wise).
