Well, we leave for Denver in 3 hours. I have my stuff packed, my boarding passes printed, and have taken a shower so as not to offend anyone on the plane.

Impromptu and Finals

I got one round of Impromptu before I was out of the running. Oh well.

I went to see HI finals today. I realized a few things about what makes a good HI.

1. Multiple characters with distinct voices and mannerisms
2. Crisp, clean transitions
3. A story/conversation being the bulk of it, not a monologue.
4. Appropriate physicality
5. Humor (a big one here)
6. A script written to be humorous (sorry people who wanted to use Twilight as an HI)
